About Me – Emirhan Kabakci

I am the founder of the Geleceğin Köyü (Village of the Future) and İYTE Sosyal initiatives. I am also a co-founder of a community aimed at advancing the entrepreneurship ecosystem in İzmir.

🎓 I graduated from Yıldız Technical University with a degree in Computer and Industrial Technologies Education (or Computer Teaching) in July 2023, with a GPA of 3.4. During my undergraduate years, I worked at nearly 50 startups and companies. I was involved in various communities such as Arya Women, Genç Finans Kulüp, Startersland, and GoGlobal, serving on their boards. I volunteered at the TOG Foundation. Between January and June 2022, I completed my Erasmus studies at the University of Salamanca in Spain, traveling to 10 countries and 35 cities, and shared these experiences as vlogs on my YouTube channel.

🎓 Currently, I am pursuing a Master’s degree in Technology, Design, and Innovation Management at İzmir Institute of Technology (İYTE), in English and with a thesis.

In 2021, I was selected as one of the 40 fellows out of 150,000 applicants by the Entrepreneurship Foundation and completed a two-year journey in the Entrepreneurship Foundation (Girvak) Fellow Program. 👨‍💻 I earn my living through salaried and contract work at companies in fields like Unity Game Development, SEO, WordPress, Adsense, Analytics, and Data Science with Python, as well as through stock market investments. Between 2019 and 2022, I was a founder of ventures like Pantropik.com and OrendaBayindir.com, contributing to their growth and management before closing them for various reasons.

With my Pantropik venture, I became a finalist in entrepreneurship competitions organized by Google, such as Next2020 and Android Academy. Additionally, in 2021, my team placed 3rd in a hackathon organized by the Yenibirlider Association during its 10th-anniversary gala with a game we developed.

Currently, I work full-time as an SEO Specialist at icerikler.com and arabunu.com, develop various projects in my areas of expertise and launch them in markets, while also taking on freelance projects through a referral system. I channel all my income and experiences into Geleceğin Köyü (Village of the Future).

With over 15 years of gaming experience, 9 years of software development experience, and 7 years of entrepreneurship experience, I am constantly engaged in productive activities.
